Our Story

Pearl Electric began in 1959, focusing primarily on the repair and maintenance of household appliances such as stoves, microwaves, washing machines, and refrigerators, establishing a foundation in electrical repairs and maintenance.

In 2007, under the leadership of Mathys De Jager, the company entered a new era of growth—evolving into a trusted, world-class provider of advanced electrical services, including residential electrician work, commercial electrical installations, emergency electrical repairs, wiring services, lighting installations, and power distribution systems. Today, Pearl Electric combines decades of experience with cutting-edge expertise in electrical contracting, solar conversions, renewable energy installations, load shedding solutions, and grid-tied solar PV systems, serving all South African provinces with certified electricians and electrotechnical innovations.
